It was a good day for the Emporia High cross country teams at El Dorado. Both the girls and boys teams finished in 1st place.
The girls were led by Elizabeth Willhite who won the race. Kelsey Boettcher finished in 7th place, Miranda Taylor in 9th, Maryn True in 11th and Avery Gutierrez 13th.
The boys were led by Treyson True who finished in 2nd place. Jonathan Laudie finished in 9th place, Caleb Hollenbeck 19th, Zac Proehl 23rd and Sam Gillen 28th.
Next Saturday the Emporia High cross country teams will be running in the Centennial League meet.
