Northeastern State out scored the Emporia State soccer team 4-1 Sunday, handing the Lady Hornets their first loss in MIAA play.
Northeastern scored goals in the 4th and 14th minute of play to take a 2-0 lead. MacKenzie Dimarco scored Emporia States lone goal at the 58 minute mark. Emporia State was out shot 8-4 on goal. The Lady Hornets are now 8-3-1 for the season and 3-1-1 in MIAA play.
They will host Central Oklahoma Friday.
