Several infrastructure items are set for approval during the Emporia City Commission’s action session Wednesday night.
Commissioners may award a bid for improvements at Sixth Ave. as part of a new water line project. Additionally, commissioners could adopt two sets of proposed ordinances for international residential and international residential building codes.
The possible approval of an ordinance for the adoption of Emporia building and construction regulations as well as a KDHE ordinance and loan agreement for the financing of municipal water system projects will also be on the agenda.
A proclamation declaring Oct. 24th as World Polio Day in Emporia and one executive session are also planned. The meeting begins at 7 pm inside the Municipal Courtroom at White Auditorium.
