The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Denver Broncos 30-6 Thursday night.
The big concern is the health of quarterback Patrick Mahomes. He will have an MRI today after suffering a knee injury. Mahomes threw a touchdown pass to Mecole Hardman before suffering the injury while picking up a first down.
Matt Moore took over at quarterback and threw a touchdown pass to Tyreek Hill.
The defense was impressive. They sacked Denver quarterback Joe Flacco 9 times and held the Broncos to 71 rushing yards. Denvers lone touchdown came on their first possession. Reggie Ragland recovered a fumble and returned it for a touchdown. Harrison Butker kicked 3 fieldgoals.
Coach Andy Reid was pleased with the play of Matt Moore and the defense.
The Chiefs are now 5-2 for the season and are off until next Sunday when they host the Green Bay Packers.
