The State High School Tennis tournaments begin Friday. 5A will be played at Pittsburg.
Emporia Highs doubles team of Drina Herrarte and Koey Keough will be playing for a state title.
Drina Herrarte will be making her 2nd State tournament appearance and Koey Keough is making her 3rd state tournament appearance. This is their first state appearance as a doubles team. They qualified for State with a 4th place finish at regionals.
