Blustery conditions are expected across most of Kansas, including most of the entire KVOE listening area, on Friday.
Lyon, Morris, Osage and Wabaunsee counties are in a wind advisory from 9 am to 6 pm. Chase County is in a separate advisory from 11 am to 6 pm.
Southerly winds could be 20-30 mph steadily by afternoon. Gusts could reach 45 mph, blowing around certain unsecured objects, knocking down some tree limbs and causing issues for high-profile vehicles — especially those traveling eastbound or westbound.
