A 32 yard fieldgoal as time expired lifted number 15 Texas to a 50-48 win over the Kansas Jayhawks Saturday night.
The Jayhawks had taken a 48-47 lead on Carter Stanleys fourth touchdown pass of the night and second one to Stephon Robinson with 1:11 to play in the game.
The game was tied at 24 going to the 4th quarter. Texas out scored the Jayhawks 26-24 in the final 15 minutes of play.
Pooka Williams rushed for 190 yards and 2 touchdowns for Kansas.
Kansas Coach Les Miles is pleased with the way the Jayhawks played.
The Jayhawks are now 2-5 for the season and 0-4 in the Big 12. They will host Texas Tech next Saturday.
