The results of recent site visits by USD 253 administrators will highlight the Emporia Board of Education meeting Wednesday evening.
A group of 8 district staff members and representatives of HTK Architects recently visited multiple early learning facilities in the Kansas City area to get a better look at how the “landscape of early learning facilities is developing.” Four Maynard staff members were on the trip and will share information collected during the visits with board members.
An update on educational redesign efforts at Logan Ave. Elementary School and the $78 million facility bond will also be presented. One executive session is planned.
The meeting begins at 7 pm inside the Mary Herbert Education Center.
