The Emporia State soccer team defeated Missouri Southern 3-1 Friday night.
Kennedy Hoffman scored the first goal in the 16th minute of play. MacKenzie Dimarco scored the next two goals, in the 39th minute of play and in the 43rd minute of play.
With the win the Lady Hornets are now 10-3-2 for the season and 5-1-2 in MIAA play. They play at Central Missouri on Sunday in a match up of the top 2 teams in the MIAA.
