A young child suffered minor injuries after a two-vehicle crash near downtown Emporia on Saturday.
Emporia Fire and Emporia Police responded to a reported injury crash in the 900 block of Congress around 12:30 pm. Police Officer Justin Hill says a southbound car hit a parked car. One of two young children in the moving car was treated at the scene but was not taken to a hospital for treatment.
No other injuries were reported.
