The Emporia Christian School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is set to feed 1,000 hungry community members at their annual Pancake Feed this weekend.
This annual fundraiser is conducted with the goal of benefitting the school with the funds raised. This year’s funds will be focused on building improvements and supporting the PTO’s ability to sponsor family-friendly field trips.
Being served, of course, will be pancakes, and also sausage, coffee, juice, and more. Not only will there be a delicious breakfast available, but also much more says PTO President Marcy Shirk.
The Emporia Christian School Pancake Feed is taking place on Saturday, Nov. 2, at the Anderson Building from 7:00 am until 12:00 pm. If bought in advance, tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children. Ticket prices at the door raise $0.50. For more information, visit the school’s Facebook page.
