The Emporia High boys soccer team faces McPherson for a regional championship Thursday evening.
The Spartans are the 5th seed and McPherson the 4th seed. Senior Carlos Sandoval says advancing to the regional championship match is a big accomplishment.
The match will be played at McPherson.
The winner advances to the State quarterfinals.
