A crash near El Dorado sent an Emporia man to a Butler County hospital Friday.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 23-year-old Taylor Tatman was southbound on the Kansas Turnpike when the crash happened around 7:30 am. Tatman swerved to miss a deer but crashed into the center barrier wall instead.
Tatman suffered suspected minor injuries but went to Susan B Allen Hospital in El Dorado for treatment. He was the only person involved and was wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash.
