The Emporia State soccer team out scored Washburn 1-0 Friday afternoon.
Mackenzie Dimarco scored the lone goal it came in the 86th minute of play.
The goal was her 17th of the season which ties her for the school record for goals in a season.
Coach Bryan Sailer called it a hard fought win.
The Lady Hornets will close out the regular season Sunday when they host Nebraska Kearney.
