Emporia Police have given more details about Monday’s injury crash at Sixth and Chestnut that sent one person to Newman Regional Health afterward.
Sgt. Lisa Sage says 62-year-old Linda Glaze of Emporia was driving an SUV eastbound on Sixth and crossed the center lane a bit after 3 pm. Her SUV then hit a westbound SUV driven by 62-year-old Sharon Todd of Williford Sharp, Arkansas, almost head-on.
A second westbound SUV, driven by 49-year-old Bud Lehnherr, hometown not listed, then hit Todd’s SUV.
Todd was taken to Newman Regional Health with what are being described as minor injuries. Originally, Police said a woman in the eastbound SUV was taken to the hospital.
