A free breakfast for veterans begins at 8 am at the Emporia Senior Center, followed by the annual Veterans Roundtable focusing on the Treaty of Versailles at 7:30 pm at the Memorial Union Preston Family Room.
There will be another concert Friday as Lee Greenwood and Crystal Gayle perform at the Granada Theatre. The concert begins at 8 pm.
The weekend schedule is packed. On Saturday, Freedom Fest essentially begins at 8 am and continues until 3 pm at the All Veterans Memorial.
