The Emporia State volleyball team was defeated by Pittsburg State 3 sets to 1 Saturday.
The Lady Hornets won the first set 27-25. Pittsburg State won the next 3 sets 25-19, 25-21, 25-11.
Jessica Hayes, Yuchen Du and Aliyah Bernard finished with 7 kills.
Emma Dixon had 16 assists and Rylie Fornelli had a team best 19 digs.
The Lady Hornets will close out the season with matches at Central Missouri Friday and Northwest Missouri State Saturday
