A 26 yard fieldgoal as time expired lifted Texas to a 27-24 win over Kansas State Saturday.
The Wildcats jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the 1st quarter on touchdown passes thrown by Skylar Thompson.
Texas would score 24 unanswered points to take a 24-14 lead into the 4th quarter. Joshua Youngblood returned a kick-off 98 yards and Blake Lynch kicked a 45 yard fieldgoal to tie the game.
Texas would put together a 13 play drive that used up 6:45 and end with the game winning fieldgoal. The Wildcats fall to 6-3 for the season and 3-3 in Big-12 play. Texas is now 6-3 and 4-2 in the Big-12. Kansas State hosts West Virginia next Saturday.
