Tennessee scored the go ahead touchdown with 29 seconds to play. That came after the Chiefs botched a field goal attempt with 1:27 to play.
The Chiefs also had a field goal attempt blocked with 3 seconds to play.
Patrick Mahomes returned for the Chiefs threw for 446 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Travis Kelce, Tyreek Hill and Mecole Hardman each caught a touchdown pass.
Harrison Butker kicked 4 field goals.
The Chiefs play the Los Angeles Chargers next Monday in Mexico City.
