An Emporia man was cited after a reported rollover injury crash near Emporia on Monday night.
Lyon County Deputy Brandon Early says 19-year-old Hernan Zapata was southbound in the 1800 block of Road F, about a mile west of Emporia, and lost control of his car on the gravel road shortly before 10:30 pm. The car went into a ditch and rolled.
Rescue crews checked Zapata on scene and he declined a hospital trip. Deputies cited Zapata for driving too fast for road conditions.
