If you’re planning to be part of the Emporia Area Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade as a parade entry, the deadline is fast approaching.
Entries are needed by the close of business Wednesday. Entry forms are available at the Chamber of Commerce office inside the Trusler Business Center, 719 Commercial. The forms are also available on the Chamber’s website, https://emporiakschamber.org/christmas-parade.
The parade is Dec. 3 and will be the Chamber’s 42nd annual holiday parade. The theme is A Super Hero Christmas with Emporia Police Chief Scott Cronk serving as parade marshal.
As has been the case for years, a lighting and dedication ceremony will start the festivities, with live music, invocation, Christmas message and benediction before the actual parade.
