The USD 253 Board of Education are set to approve the issuance of bonds Wednesday night, following approval by local voters during the general election on Nov. 5
Local voters approved the $78 million bond question for district facility improvements by a final vote tally of 2,514 (63.4%) to 1,450 (36.6%). Along with this item, representatives of HTK Architects and McCown Gordon will provide an overview of the next steps in the improvement process.
Additionally, Board members will be presented with the district’s Fiscal Year 2019 audit report from Mize Houser and Co. An education redesign update from William Allen White Elementary staff will also be presented.
The meeting begins at 7 pm inside the Mary Herbert Education Center.
