An Osage City woman had medical treatment in Topeka after an injury crash at the Kansas Turnpike’s Admire-Council Grove-Osage City exit Monday.
Deputy Tera Titus says 24-year-old Rauldelis Rodriguez of Junction City was leaving the Turnpike but failed to yield at a stop sign at US Highway 56 shortly after 5 pm. His car then hit a pickup truck driven by 57-year-old Julie Powell of Osage City.
Powell went by private vehicle to Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka. Rodriguez and two passengers were not hurt.
All involved were wearing seatbelts. The news release does not say whether Rodriguez was ticketed.
