Parts of southeast Emporia affected by water valve work earlier this month can expect similar work Tuesday.
Emporia Public Works will replace a valve at the corner of East and Quail Creek. The project area includes residents along East from Kansas to Potwin as well as residents along Quail Creek, Wild Turkey Road and Pheasant Ridge.
Work could start as soon as 8 am and could last for most of the day, although there is a chance the project could be done by early afternoon. The valve repair work at East and Potwin on Nov. 8 was done before noon.
