14 Emporia State football players have been named to the All MIAA team. The Hornets have 3 first team selections, two second team and two third team selections and 7 honorable mentions.
Offensive lineman Austin Unterreiner, linebacker Jace McDown and defensive back Lawson Holbert are first team selections.
Unterreiner was a 2nd team selection last year and made 27 starts during his career.
Jace McDown tied for 2nd place in the MIAA for total tackles. Lawson Holbert led the MIAA with 7 interceptions.
Defensive lineman Parker Bass and defensive back Gary Woods II are second team selections.
Offensive lineman Stephen Williams and defensive lineman Marek Thompson are third team selections.
Receiving honorable mentions are:
Running back Carlos Grace; Offensive linemen Estevan Arana and Tyler Banta; linebackers Gee Stanley and Dawson Hammes and defensive backs Jaedon Pool and Kyle Rinck.
