Kansas State needed another strong 2nd half to defeat Arkansas Pine Bluff 62-51 Tuesday night.
The game was tied at 27 at halftime. The Wildcats out scored Pine Bluff 35-24 in the 2nd half. Coach Bruce Weber called it another good learning opportunity.
Xavier Sneed scored 12 of his team high 21 points in the 2nd half. Makol Mawien finished with 10 points. The Wildcats are now 4-0 to start the season.
K-State opens semifinal play in the Rocket Mortgage by Quicken Loans Fort Myers Tipoff on Monday against ACC foe Pittsburgh.
