Emporia State university gave select high school band students a chance to perform for the public during the ESU Highschool Honors Band Concert on Saturday.
Select students from 19 different high schools performed songs from a variety of music styles from all around the world. They also got to perform with the ESU Wind Ensemble who performed similar songs like El Tor Loco which was written by Dr. Gary Ziek himself.
The ground floor of Albert Taylor Hall was almost completely filled for the concert.
