The Messiah Lutheran Church Harvest Home Festival and Benefit Auction typically fills the Fairgrounds Anderson Building, and Saturday was no exception.
Organizer Greg Larson says at least 50 people were in line before the event started at 8 am, and all facets of the event — Jelly Cupboard, Christmas Corner, flea market and auctions — were well attended. Larson tells KVOE News the event has found a lot of support in the community.
Larson says the congregation is fully vested in the Harvest Home Festival, with anywhere from 75 to 100 people helping in various ways before and during the event.
Proceeds benefit Handlebars of Hope, Lord’s Lambs Preschool, Team Schnak, USD 252 Southern Lyon County Honor Flight and Concordia Seminary. Totals are currently pending.
