(WSU) West Virginia out scored Wichita State 75-63 in the Cancun Challenge Championship game.
The Shockers trailed by three at halftime. West Virginia would pull away in the second half to win the battle of unbeatens.
Erik Stevenson matched his career-high with 22 points to lead Wichita State in scoring.
The 6-1 Shockers are off until next Thursday when they host Central Arkansas.
