As their culminating performance of the year, the Emporia Municipal Band is ready for their last performance of the year with their annual Christmas concert this weekend.
The Granada Theatre will be the setting for the festive concert. Classic Christmas songs will be played, as well as some more recent tunes that Band Director James Davis is excited for. Davis is excited about the performance and says the Municipal Band has been consistently good all year round.
The Christmas Concert will take place at the Granada Theatre on Sunday, Dec. 8 beginning at 3:00 pm. The concert is free to attend; however, free-will donations will be accepted to benefit the Emporia Municipal Band. Doors open at the Granada at 2:15 pm.
