Two Emporia men suffered minor injuries, but one was still transported for medical attention after a crash near Lebo on Thursday.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 62-year-old Michael Nogueras was southbound on Interstate 35 when his car’s right rear tire failed just before 3 pm. Nogueras lost control of the car, which went into the center median and rolled at least twice.
Nogueras’ passenger, 48-year-old John Riley, was taken by ambulance to Newman Regional Health. Both Nogueras and Riley were wearing seatbelts when the wreck happened.
