Flint Hills Technical College has announced its winter commencement schedule.
Activities will take place at two locations Dec. 20. The Practical Nursing pin ceremony will take place at 4 pm at the Trusler Foundation Conference Center at the college’s main campus, 3301 West 18th. That ceremony will be followed by the formal winter commencement at 6 pm at the Humanitarian Center auditorium. Joe LeMay, a senior engineering manager at Simmons Foods and a 1996 college alum, will deliver remarks to the graduates.
