The Emporia State track and field team had 5 top 3 finishes and 2 provisional qualifiers for nationals at the Pittsburg State hosted Crimson and Gold Invitational Saturday.
Taysean Goodwin had the lone first place finish. He won the 300 meter dash and set a school record.
Hayden Goodpaster placed 2nd in the 600 yard run.
Jared Reinke placed 3rd in the mile run.
Josiah Driggers place 3rd in the triple jump.
The mens 4 by 400 relay team of Guy Ramos, Hayden Goodpastor, Murad Baheyadeen and Taysean Goodwin finished in 3rd place with a provisional time.
Allie Barrett provisionally qualified in the pole vault and finished in a tie for 5th place.
