Marquette out scored Kansas State 73-65 Saturday night.
The Wildcats trailed for most of the game. They did cut the deficit to 45-44 with 12:55 to play in the game but would get no closer. A cold shooting night cost Kansas State, they would shot 32% from the field. 4 Wildcats scored in double-figures led by Cartier Diarra with 14 points. Makol Mawien and Xavier Sneed both finished with 11 points and DaJuan Gordon added 10 points. Markus Howard the nations leading scorer finished with 19 points.
Kansas State falls to 5-3 for the season. The Wildcats will host Alabama State Wednesday night.
