The Emporia State womens basketball team makes its first appearance in the WBCA top 25 this season.
The Lady Hornets after their wins over Nebraska Kearney and Fort Hays State are ranked 23rd in this weeks poll. This is the 23rd consecutive year that they have been ranked in the top 25 of the WBCA polls.
Fort Hays State slides to 19th. They are the only other MIAA team ranked.
Drury is the number 1 ranked team, Lubbock Christian is 2nd and Grand Valley State 3rd.
Sioux Falls who handed Emporia State their 2nd loss is 9-0 and ranked 7th.
