Traffic on Road Y-5 south of Hartford will likely be adjusted for much of the afternoon after a semi crash a bit before noon.
The northbound semi crashed just north of 90 at Y-5 around 11:45 am Wednesday. Lyon County Deputy Danny Broyles tells KVOE News the semi had some wheels go off the road. The driver tried to get the truck back onto the road, but the load of screening shifted and the semi rolled onto the passenger side instead.
The driver was not hurt.
A Lyon County Highway Department flag crew brought traffic down to one lane shortly after noon. The road will be completely closed for a short time as the semi is removed from the scene, and flagging may be needed for a time after that happens.
