The second annual Snow Place Like Christmas brought holiday joy to the Lyon County History Center on Saturday morning.
While the History Center was the venue for the event, Parents as Teachers actually organized Snow Place Like Christmas. Several seasonal activities were offered for children to participate in, and History Center Deputy Director Lisa Soller says they tried to make games with a little more sustenance.
Last year, the activities were spread to both the second and third floors of the History Center, but this year all the fun was consolidated to the third floor. Parent Educator and event organizer Denise Dorcey says this allowed for a smoother transition between stations and enjoys the History Center as a host.
