Mississippi State out scored Kansas State 67-61 in the fourth annual Never Forget Tribute Classic Saturday.
Mississippi State out scored the Wildcats 10-3 over the final 3:11 of the game and scored 22 of the final 31 points of the game to earn the win.
Kansas State led for most of the game. Their biggest lead was by 12 points in the 1st half.
Cartier Diarra scored a game-high 20 points to lead the Wildcats. Mike McGuirl was the other Wildcat in double figures with 14 points.
Kansas State falls to 6-4 for the season. They will play St. Louis in Kansas City next Saturday.
