Four Osage City residents were brought to Emporia for medical treatment after a rollover crash near Miller early Sunday evening.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 41-year-old Fred Pallesi was eastbound on US Highway 56 when he lost control of his pickup a mile north of Miller shortly after 5 pm. The truck left the highway and went into a ditch, where it hit a culvert and rolled onto its top.
Pallesi and three young passengers — 13-year-old Allisa Pallesi, 12-year-old Janessa Pallesi and 7-year-old Leonidas Pallesi — were taken to Newman Regional Health with suspected minor injuries or possible injuries. All four were wearing their seatbelts when the crash happened.
The Highway Patrol has not confirmed if the weather played a role in this crash.
