The Emporia State womens basketball team closed out the 2019 portion of their schedule with a 87-50 win over Bethany Monday night.
The Lady Hornets never trailed in the game. Their biggest lead came in the 4th quarter when they held a 39 point lead. Coach Toby Wynn said they played well enough.
5 players scored in double figures. Tre’Zure Jobe and Mollie Mounsey both finished with 14 points.
Morgan Laudan finished with 13 points.
Kali Martin and Fredricka Sheats both scored 11 points.
Emporia State played without Jessica Wayne and Jaylin Harris, both out with injuries.
The Lady Hornets improve to 8-2. They are now off until January 1st when they host Missouri Valley.
