Trial has been postponed yet again for an armed robbery suspect following a hearing in Lyon County District Court Wednesday.
Trial was slated to begin Monday in the case of Harold Stewart, however, according to Lyon County Attorney Marc Goodman, the trial has now been postponed until Jan. 6. This is the second time trial has been postponed in the case as it was originally set to begin on Monday, Nov. 25 but was delayed following a last-minute hearing on the 22nd.
Stewart stands accused of one count of aggravated robbery for allegedly robbing the Max’s BP convenience store, 202 East Sixth, in February. He was formally charged in May after his capture in Las Vegas, Nevada.
