Now three adults have now been formally charged after a shots fired investigation led to suspected criminal activity earlier this week.
Elijah Rowley, age 21 of Emporia, is now formally charged with possessing marijuana with intent to to sell. Emporians Jesse Baker, age 18, and Christopher Diaz, age 21, are both charged with marijuana possession.
Charges against these adults follow charges against two juvenile males after arrests Monday. The juveniles were both charged with burglary of a dwelling with intent to steal a firearm.
The arrests were the latest phase as the investigation continues into shots fired into 1101 Congress and 531 East Logan on Dec. 6 and 901 Mary on Dec. 8. All three homes were occupied but nobody was hurt. Emporia Police investigators have announced the seizure of five firearms, including an AK-47 rifle and 12-gauge shotgun, and over 1.5 pounds of marijuana.
