The Emporia High wrestling team finished in 1st place in the 15 team Emporia Winter Classic Saturday.
The Spartans had two individual champions, four second place finishes and three third place finishes.
Lucas Hainline at 113 and Xerarch Tungjaroenkel at 132 won individual titles.
Ethan Garate at 170, Bobby Trujillo at 182, Whitney Hall at 220 and Johnny Castanon at 285 finished in 2nd place.
David Tucker at 120, TeShawn Ervin at 152 and Darin Neal at 195 finished in 3rd place.
Hutchinson finished in 2nd place, Lawrence Free State was 3rd. Burlingame finished in 5th place and Chase County finished in 12th place.
Burlingames Dane Whalen finished in 1st place at 220 pounds. Connor Collins at 113 and Elijah Collins at 138 finished in 2nd place.
Chase Countys Trint Rogers at 126 finished in 3rd place. Cory Owen at 152 and Cael Budke at 170 finished in 4th place.
