With trial looming next month, an Emporia robbery suspect has a motions hearing Friday afternoon.
Harold Stewart will be in Lyon County District Court at 2 pm. Defense attorney Steve Atherton has filed a motion to suppress evidence.
Stewart has a trial date of Jan. 6 on one charge of aggravated robbery. He’s accused of robbing the Max’s BP convenience store at 202 East Sixth in February.
