The Kansas City Chiefs will be the number 2 seed in the AFC play-offs and receive a first round bye. The Chiefs overcame a slow start and defeated the Los Angeles Chargers 31-21 Sunday afternoon.
Patrick Mahomes threw 1 touchdown pass to Demarcus Robinson. Damien Williams scored 2 touchdowns including one on an 84 yard run.
Williams finished with 124 yards rushing.
Mecole Hardman returned a kick-off 104 yards for a touchdown.
Coach Andy Reid said all in all it was a good win.
The Chiefs are the number 2 seed for the AFC play-offs after Miami defeated New England 27-24.
The Chiefs finish the regular season with a 12-4 record.
Baltimore is the number 1 seed in the AFC play-offs.
In the wildcard round of play-offs on Saturday Buffalo is at Houston and Tennessee is at New England.
In the Divisonal round the Chiefs will play either the Bills, Texans or Patriots on Sunday January 12th with kick-off at 2:05p.
In the NFC the San Francisco 49ers are the number 1 seed and Green Bay is the number 2 seed.
In the Wildcard games Sunday Minnesota is at New Orleans and Seattle is at Philadelphia.
