The Kansas City Chiefs will be playing the rest of the season without Rookie Safety Juan Thornhill who has been diagnosed with a torn ACL.
Chiefs Coach Andy Reid made that announcement Monday.
Thornhill suffered the injury in Sundays win over the Chargers.
Thornhill compiled 58 tackles, three INTs, a pick-six, and five passes defended in 16 starts.
Coach Reid also said the team will get some off time as they prepare for their first playoff game.
In the divisional round the Chiefs will play either the Bills, Texans or Patriots on Sunday January 12th with kick-off at 2:05p.
