Twelve participants in the annual “Watch the Chiefs” promotion, courtesy of Country 101.7 FM and Triad Leasing, learned which teams they would be following through the NFL playoffs for a chance to win a 55-inch 4K LED smart TV.
Four others learned their chances of winning the TV are already over.
Throughout the NFL regular season, listeners to Country 101.7 FM had a chance to name two mystery players during each game. Successful participants then qualified for the chance to win the television and also received a free one-topping pizza from Gambino’s.
During the live drawing Saturday, Don Kellerman got just about everybody’s favorite, the Kansas City Chiefs. And he likes the Chiefs’ chances of winning the Super Bowl.
Triad spokesman Dale Baker says it’s an exciting promotion for all involved and a good partnership between his store and Country 101.7 FM.
Twelve of the participants put their names above squares with the teams they would follow. The other four put their names above squares that said “Better Luck Next Year” when revealed.
