After trailing by 10 in the first half the number 3 ranked Kansas Jayhawks out scored West Virginia 36-23 in the second half on the way to a 60-53 win Saturday.
The Jayhawks out scored West Virginia 6-2 in the final 45 seconds to seal the win. Udoka Azubuike scored a team high 17 points and also finished with 11 rebounds.
Devon Dotson added 16 points and Marcus Garrett finished with 12 points. The Jayhawks are now 11-2 for the season and 1-0 in the Big-12. They will play Iowa State Wednesday.
