(ESU) Emporia States’ Tre’Zure Jobe earned her second MIAA Player of the Week honor after averaging 23.0 points per game in two Lady Hornet wins last week.
She started the week with a near triple double against Missouri Valley. She scored a career high 30 points with eight assists and eight steals in the then #20 Lady Hornets 97-58 victory over Missouri Valley. She then had 16 points as Emporia State secured a 69-57 win at Washburn to remain undefeated in MIAA play.
Jobe is now second in the MIAA in scoring at 16.7 points per game and ranks second in steals at 3.1 per game.
The Lady Hornets have also moved up to number 16 in this weeks National Coaches poll.
Fort Hays State is the only other ranked MIAA team at number 13.
Drury is the number 1 ranked team followed by Lubbock Christian and Grand Valley State in the top 3.
The Lady Hornets will hosts Northwest Missouri State Thursday and Missouri Western Saturday.
