Power has been restored to around 700 customers in Chase County following separate outages Friday afternoon.
The outages developed shortly after 3:00 pm and left 703 Evergy clients without power for the better part of two hours. Approximately 378 customers were offline from Cottonwood Falls stretching south on US Highway 177. An additional 325 customers were also without power from Elmdale southwest on Old Highway 50 to Clements.
Details are currently pending on the exact cause of the outage.

Over 700 Evergy customers in Chase County are currently in the dark due to separate power outages which developed just before 3 pm Friday.
